Every Friday in July beginning at 7:00 PM, the Union Mills Learning Center will have a Bluegrass concert and jam session in the auditorium. $5 admission at the door per person. Proceeds will go to helping keep the Center open and functioning to serve the community. Dixie Moon Bluegrass, of Forest City, will host each week and will head up a jam session open to all. Inviting musicians, food vendors, and local artisans to be a part of this series. Vendor space free with 10% of sales donated back to the Center. Indoor and outdoor space available. Folkmoot USA is the two-week international festival of folk music in North Carolina that celebrates of the world's cultural
heritage through music and dance. Invitations have gone out to performers from each continent. Held in the beautiful mountains
of Western North Carolina, Folkmoot will also feature a Parade of Nations on July 23rd and the Folkmoot 5K Run and Kid's
Fun Run on July 31st. The International Festival Day will also be on July 31st in Waynesville. You can find useful sites for
