The 2012 Pine Village "Summerfest" is being held July 21st at Willer-Hooker Park. The day begins with town wide yard sales and vendors at 8:00 am. We will hold our 3nd Annual Car/Truck/Motorcycle Show in the park. This will be a great opportunity to view the area’s best classic cars. Registration starts at 10:00 am with a $10.00 entry fee. Dash plaques will be given for first 50 entrants. Plaques will be awarded for the top 25 Cars/Trucks, awards will be given to the Top 3 Motorcycles. Trophies will be awarded for the Best of Show, "Summerfest Choice" and Military Veterans pick. All awards will be presented at 3:00pm. The Indiana Blood Bank will be on hand to take donations. Kids can have a lot of fun with "The Bounce Houses" and enjoy a variety of animals in our outdoor "petting zoo". You can ride around town on a horse and wagon...just like the old days or take a ride on the Purdue Boilermaker Special. Many more activities are planned throughout the day.....The Barbeque chicken dinner will be held at the community fire station from 4:30 pm to 7:30 pm. The beer/wine garden will open around noon. Food will also be available for purchase. The music begins at 4:00 pm with music provided by DJ Bryan Downs ... Live music will be provided by country music recording artist "Paul Stout Country". They will perform at 8:00 pm. There will be Fireworks are at dark. All proceeds help raise money for the Pine Village Community Fund and Support the Volunteer Fire Department. All events are subject to change.
