Come watch artists from all over as they transform the downtown courthouse square into an open-air, walk-through museum. Eatonton’s Street Painting Festival is host to a silent auction, an antique car show by the Georgia Classic Cruisers, artists, crafters and vendors selling their ware. There is live music, silent auction, and this festival truly something for the entire family!
Eatonton Georgia is about an hour drive East of Atlanta and is home to famous authors such as Alice Walker (The Color Purple) and Joel Chandler Harris (Uncle Remus) as well as 2008 Gold Medal Olympian Vince Hancock. Eatonton part of the Antebellum Trail and also has the 4-H center Rock Eagle. Rock Eagle’s effigy dates back to 900-1500 AD. The 3rd Annual Street Painting Festival brings a day of fun, art and culture to this little gem of a town in Georgia. Come join in the fun!
