St. Aug Fest St. Augustine, Florida February 26th to February 28th St. Aug Fest
St. Augustine Festival Police Benevolent Organization (PBO), in partnership with Harley- Davidson of St. Augustine, First Coast Honda, and Premier Cadillac, will be hosting the 1st Annual “St. Aug Fest” at Francis Field (St. Augustine Fl., 29 West Castillo Dr.) on Feb. 26-28, 2010. St. Aug Fest will include live music, arts and crafts, local food vendors, a kids zone and special motorcycle parking with security.
The event kicks off Friday, 2/26/10, at 5:00 p.m. with live music performed by “Matanzas” from 6:00 -10:00.
Saturday, riders can begin their day at Harley-Davison of St. Augustine, located at 2575 State Road 16, across from the Outlet Mall, exit 318 off I95, at 10:00 am with an escorted motorcycle ride which travels through the beautiful landscape our county has to offer! Cost of the ride is $15 per rider and $5 per passenger, which includes admittance to St. Aug Fest, plus secure event parking to the festival. All proceeds of this unique ride will go to the St. Augustine PBO.
On Saturday, 02/27/10, the gates open at 12:00 pm with live music performed by “Craig Hand” at 1:00 pm, “Kevin Marcus Dillon Band” at 4:00 pm and “The Restless Kind” at 7:00 pm.
On Sunday, 02/28/10, the gates open at 12:00 pm with live music performed by “JAIDD” at 1:00 pm and “The Restless Kind” at 3:30 pm.
“This special event kicks off the first weekend of Bike Week in Daytona and promises to be a great way for local and vacationing motorcycle riders to not only visit the Nation’s Oldest City, but also to start their riding weekend in a fun and safe environment,” said Michael Etheridge, President of the St. Augustine PBO.
During the three day event, attendees can participate in a scavenger hunt where they can explore historic locations and sponsor sites within St. Augustine. A $2 entry donation is requested. This event will benefit the St. Augustine PBO which provides support and assistance to the families of the St. Augustine Police Department.
