Nanticoke Indian
The Nanticoke Indian Powwow will be held on September 11th and 12th, 2010 in Millsboro, De. Skilled Native American artisans, who have created their wares all year long, travel to various powwows across America to sell or trade. It is a welcome opportunity to visit with friends and relatives, renew acquaintances, and trade or sell Native arts and crafts, including jewelry, pottery, moccasins, ribbon shirts, shawls, dream catchers, and paintings. Most importantly, it is a time to preserve traditions, to sing to the Creator, and to dance to the heart beat of the drum.
