Sunday, March 21st is Bomb Day where One hundred handmade ceremonial "bombs" will be tossed into the air followed by a mad dash for the lucky rings contained inside the individual bombs. This colorful activity is punctuated by the vivid snapping and popping of fireworks and is sponsored by the Sahm Fow Chinese Community. This event is open for public viewing only.

The parade starts at noon and is full of colorful costumes, lots of music and lots of horses. The festival follows immediately after the parade and is located a short walk to the fairgrounds. Admission is only $5 and admits you to an afternoon of family fun and delicious food. There are games and activities for children, including a children's singing contest; there is a DJ playing dance music for teens; and there is a festival entertainment program to be enjoyed by all.
